First record of the stink bug genus Ochrophara Stål, 1871 (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Pentatomidae) from Japan

چکیده

The stink bug genus Ochrophara Stål, 1871 (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Pentatomidae, Pentatominae, Sephelini) is dis-tributed in the Oriental Region, including southern China; however, no species has been recorded Japan. To date, O. chinensis Zheng & Liu, 1987 only reported China. In present study, and were Japan for first time based on materials from Okinawa Ishigaki islands of Ryukyu Islands. Oki-nawa Island northernmost locality this genus. was attracted to artificial light Island.

The Japanese species of the heterogastrid genus Sadoletus Distant are revised taxonomically. Three species are recog-nized, including a new species, S. ryukyuensis sp. nov., which has been regarded so far as S. valdezi Bergroth in Japan. "True" S. valdezi is confirmed in Japan as well.
